Customs Declarations can be made by Exporters, Freight Forwarders or a third party can be nominated to submit the Declaration application on the exporter’s behalf. Any party who wishes to submit a Customs Declaration must be granted access to the Customs online platform, CHIEF (Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight). With effect from 2021, the CHIEF system is due to be replaced with a new system, the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
 
With a significant increase in the number of Customs Declarations anticipated in 2021, we are ready to assist Exporters and Freight Forwarders in managing the overspill of additional Declarations, as well as providing our services to clients who usually prepare their Customs Declarations in-house, or who may have no previous experience with the complex regulations involved with dealing with Customs Declarations.
